Junking philosophy: Vintage items carry with them a natural beauty and important stories. Each piece I find, either for my home or for “Sweet”, can encourage or inspire a room or be just the right item to make it sing! With a theme, I begin with a vision in my mind and the wonderful pieces find me or are created. It’s not what it is. It’s what it can be.

Junking philosophy: If it's chippy, rusty and filled with history, then load it up! My most fabulous finds come from the most hidden places and are just waiting to be rediscovered. The stories and aged beauty these items withhold is what I find to be the most inspiring!

Junking Philosophy: Trained in the natural sciences of Ecology, Botany and Biology, it is difficult for me to deem anything as garbage. With creativity, vision and determination (and at times necessity), any man-made object can be broken down at various levels of re-purposing.

Junking philosophy: We ate a lot of barbecue ribs growing up in Memphis. A family friend would often remind us kids to “review our bones.” When I’m pickin’ I make sure that I go back through and “review” because the fabulous piece you leave behind is what haunts you. I also have a “more is more” philosophy meaning that I buy in multiples as often as possible. If I like one of something, I’m gonna LOVE 20 of them!

Junking philosophy: The best thing about junking isn't just finding really cool stuff, it's finding the potential in things other people gave up on and turning them into something people want again.

Junking philosophy: Junking to me is all about remembering the past and repurposing items for the future. I love the initial nostalgia, then the creativity that comes along with creating something new. There is something to be said about the qualityofcraftsmanship. I love finding items that have lasted alifetime...or two!
